If you're involved in adult learning and in particular helping people in Scotland to read, write and use numbers, then this site is for you.

This site is not just about you gaining access to a growing bank of Scottish based learning and teaching resources, training materials and relevant research and reports. We are also looking for you to share your own resources and experiences by contributing to the site.

Use the site to quickly find, easily download and where necessary adapt the resources you want to suit your teaching style and learner needs.

ALO was created by Learning Connections, part of the Scottish Government's Lifelong Learning directorate. Everything on this site is in line with Scotland's Adult Literacy and Numeracy Curriculum Framework.
